Hazel L. Weiland died on Nov. 27, 2009 at Holly Manor in Mendham. She was 91. Born in Newark, she lived in Irvington, Ravenna, OH, Cranford, Gillette, and Toms River before moving to Chester 9 years ago. Mrs. Weiland was a Legal Assistant at several law firms in the Berkeley Heights area before she retired. Her husband Arthur died in 1993. Survivors include her three nephews, Robert Jacobus of Mendham, Earl Jacobus of Maplewood and Royden Jacobus of Elon, NC and one niece Carole Barrett of North East, MD. She is also survived by several grand-nieces and grand-nephews. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at the Whiting Memorial Park, Whiting, NJ, at 1pm.
