Dolores Deckenbach died on Nov. 16, 2009 at Cape Regional Hospital in Cape May. She was 81. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Mendham before moving to Cape May 25 years ago. Mrs. Deckenbach was the Librarian at St. Joseph Church School in Mendham for 15 years before retiring. She also worked at New York Telephone and also as a homemaker. Her family will remember her as a Loving Caring Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Survivors include her husband Lawrence, two sons Mark Deckenbach (Sue) of Stillwater, Paul Deckenbach (Katie) of Great Meadows, one daughter Beth Anne Darnall (William) of Buckingham, PA; and one brother Robert Bratton of Pt. Pleasant Beach. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren Dallas and her husband Jeff, Morgan, Blaine, Colin and Logan and her great granddaughter Emilee. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham. Funeral Mass Friday 10:30am at St. Joseph Church, Mendham. Interment St. Joseph Church Cemetery.
