Gene was my support and guidance in the early mornings, walking the lane at Shady Nook Park at Culver Lake. His kindness and wit always made me feel better .... I will keep him in my heart always.
In these past years, he was such a gentleman at church, ushering all the ladies out of the pew before him.
He was always full of memories and stories, and never failed to make me laugh.
