I am so sorry to hear of Dr Joe's passing. He was instrumental in saving my Mom's life in her 60's and was an icon in the local Mendham community. He and the family are in our prayers.

Dr Joe Olivia was a special man; and, much appreciated by both my mother and me. He helped me specifically when my mother was very ill in the hospital; and, he immediately informed me that he sent to the hospital a letter stating that he would be checking her case. He will be remembered as a caring man to us. He also was a great son who often visited and checked in on his beloved mother when she was alive. His mother lived close to us, so we were aware of his out of state visits to her. God bless you Dr Joe ; and, rest in peace!

Joe was my dear brother-in-law. Loved his special grin and his sense of humor. So enjoyed the visits to Vero Beach. I would walk and he was in his scooter. Many good memories- RIP dearest Joe!

Dad I still cant believe your gone! The house was extremely quiet this past weekend (not hearing you yell out for Joan ,Scott or Tammy)also seeing your empty chair in the kitchen brought tears to my eyes! Jeff's girlfriend Kelly made biscotti you would have enjoyed them! You and I certainly had our differences over the years I think we were both a little hardheaded!! I will miss you and our talks! Thank you for all the lessons learned some were hard others not so bad believe it or not I did learn something! I hope you are at peace and I know we will meet again! I love you Dad!!

From your loving brother and family, THANK YOU for all you did for me and my family. I enjoyed those visits with you, Joan and fishing with you and Gene Claton. And the meals that we cooked (you directed, I cooked,) for JIM and his wonderful wife. Your goodness and charity were never flaunted or talked about, you just did it to give back to those in need. Now dear brother, in the song that you loved,"IT IS TIME TO SAY GOODBYE" with tears in my eyes and a heavy heart, till we meet again.
To Joan, Chris, Tammy, Keith, and Scott, he was a man of principle and loved you in his own way. Keep the candle that he lite, burning, giving yourselves to those in need thankful to God for all that he has given to you. God Bless.

Grandpa you were quite a character that I will never forget. The countless summers visiting and the times spent in Florida were so much fun. Your passion for Penn State, cooking and education were cemented in my head since I can remember. I'll cherish those memories along with my brother and sister. Rest in peace Grandpa Dr. Joseph V. Olivia.
