Obituary of Janet A. Kronk

Janet A. Kronk passed away on Dec 21, 2025, at her home in Parsippany.  She was 87.

Born in Erie Michigan she lived in Mendham for 10 years before moving to Parsippany in 1992.

She was a past member of St. Joseph Church in Mendham and a longtime member of St. Virgil’s Church in Morris Plains.

Janet was an avid gardener, and she also enjoyed cooking and baking. She was baking Christmas cookiesuntil the day before her passing. She was also the personal dogsitter and “treat” baker for Brody.

Her family will remember her as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who treasured time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband John Martin Kronk, her brother James A. Cousino, and parents Isaiah James and Thelma Vera (Baird) Cousino.

She is survived by two sons: Timothy Michael Kronk (Robin) of Morristown, and Kevin Baird Kronk (Rosie) of Succasunna.  She is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Erika Alexandra of Plantation Key, Florida and Hunter John of Miami, Florida.

A graveside service will be held on Friday Dec 26, 2025 at 2pm at the Hilltop Cemetery in Mendham.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association.
