She was a second mom. I could run into her kitchen in Mendham as a kid and she would open her arms and give me a hug as if I was hers. Always asking if I needed a drink or some candy. She would put cartoons on for me so the adults could talk, which basically meant my mother was gonna rat me out for doing something stupid and then no more candy and cartoons. On Halloween specifically she had a lot of grandchildren that didn't belong to her show up and we always made it a point to go to her home first to say thank you for lettings in the gate. hahaha She truly was one in a million, she didn't just say she loved you, she showed you by always a smile and open arms and that is how I will always remember her.
