Obituary of Linda Sansone

Linda L. Sansone, (71) of Pennington NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 14, 2025. She was surrounded by her loving children and loyal dog, Fisher.

Born in Trenton, NJ to the parents of Stephen and Mary Louise (Brokaw) Barna. Linda grew up and raised her family in New Jersey, moved to Texas and then lived out her remaining years back in New Jersey after her husband passed. 

Linda was a member of the Princeton Elks Lodge, Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed giving back. She worked for the New Jersey State Police Private Detective Unit in Ewing for 18 years as an administrative assistant. Linda continued the role as an administrative assistant after moving to Texas working for the City of Marshall and again locally at Fyr-Fyter before retiring. 

Linda enjoyed fishing with her husband, dancing, and spending time with friends and family as well as cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. She will always be remembered by her generous heart, contagious laugh and quick wit. While Linda enjoyed a lot of things in life, she loved and cherished her time as a mother and grandmother.

Linda is preceded in death by her loving husband, Michael Vincent Sansone Sr., brother, Joseph Barna and sister, Sandra Meinzer. She is survived by her brother Stephen Barna, sisters Barbara Hillman and Janet Porter. She is survived by her son, Michael (Jennifer) Sansone Jr., daughter Kelly (Ross) Johnson, granddaughters Kelsey, Gracelyn, and Sydney. She is survived by her nieces, Jennifer Boutureira, Kylie Moody, and nephew Logan Porter. 

A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date with the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda’s memory may be made to Temple Lung Center,  or call 215-707-3598.
