I am heartbroken over the loss of my cousin Mary Anna. She was the kindest and most loving person. She was an amazing role model. She was always present in good times and in bad. I am grateful for every card she sent over the years to me and my family. These expressions of her love will be cherished always. loved and will miss my dear cousin so much. RIP Maryanna

Having known Mary Ann for my entire life, I am profoundly blessed and grateful to have had my mom’s godmother in my life and have a loving relationship with both her and John. They always supported all that I do, including my endeavors as an artist. In sincere appreciation and gratitude of her unwavering love and kindness, and all of the wonderful time that we spent together, I created this painting in dedication of Mary Ann. I was deeply touched to be able to share it with her. I feel that every time I display this work, it helps to keep her memory alive. I know that she found peace in the painting when she saw it, and I hope that others are able to find peace in their lives through this work also.

Mary Ann was a childhood friend; we lived on the same block. We married friends from Barringer High School and they traded best man duties. She remembered every birthday. My daughter said she would miss her annual card. My Newark friend was a lovely special woman. May she rest in peace.

For seventy years, I had the true pleasure of being close friends with Mary Ann. When we were teenagers, she would invite me to sleepovers at her house. On Saturday nights, she would pick me up in her car and we would go on fun escapades with friends. Mary Ann was the maid of honor at my wedding, and she then become the godmother of my daughter Susan. Throughout the decades that followed, she remained a special person in my life. Every time we touched base, even if several months had passed since we last spoke, it felt as if we had seen each other only yesterday. Her family and children were the most important people in her life. During the past several years, it was wonderful to reconnect with Mary Ann. We saw each other very often. I will always cherish the time we spent together. I love you and will miss you, my friend. Elaine

Maryanna Molka was my godmother. She was one of the most important people in my life since my birth. She exemplified the true meaning of what it means to be a godmother. Her strength in her faith, her unconditional love, and her life of kindness was a beautiful inspiration to me. She would, without fail, send me a birthday card every year, and even though we may have not been in touch for periods of time, I knew that she was thinking of me. I am blessed that in the last year we have reconnected and were able to spend some time together. I was able to let her know how much she has been a special part of my life, and that I loved her. I know that you will continue watching over all of us always. Your goddaughter, Susie
