Obituary of Gordon A Collura

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon A. Collura, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who passed away on March 17, 2025.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, to parents Anthony and Madeline (LoGuidice) Collura, Gordon lived in Flushing, NY, Belleville, NJ, and was a resident of Warren, NJ, for 44 years before settling in Bedminster in 2020. He was a man of faith and a parishioner of Our Lady of The Mount in Warren, NJ.

Gordon was a member of the Army Reserves from 1963 to 1969. He worked in Manhattan for Leslie Fay as a Credit Manager until his retirement. His favorite thing to do was spend time with his family, especially his three beautiful grandchildren.

Gordon was a man of unwavering kindness, possessed a strong work ethic, a great sense of humor and cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.  

Gordon is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Josephine Collura, son Keith Collura, daughter Jessica (Frank) Pascale and April (Peter) Zangari, sister Sandy Karnbad, grandchildren Jenna, Frankie and Mason Pascale. He is predeceased by his sister Gail Wallinger.

He will be remembered for his never ending jokes, his patience, his love for his wife, who he adored and his ability to always make you feel loved.

A private viewing will be held at Bailey’s Funeral Home on Monday, March 24, 2025 for his immediate family, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11am at St. Brigid Church, 129 Main Street Peapack, NJ 07977, which all are welcomed to attend.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Gordon’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
