His family will remember him as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, great-uncle and a good friend to all.

He was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Rose Swanson, and an infant son, Gary.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Wallace Swanson, his daughter, Anita Bye (Michael), his granddaughter, Katie Bye and his brother, William Swanson (Linda), his mother-in-law, Florence Wallace, his sister-in-laws, Cynthia Graziano (Lou) and Barbara Hill (Tom).  He is also survived by his nephews, Erik Swanson (Liz), Kristopher Swanson, Christopher Hill (Ashley), Kevin Hill (Catherine) Kurt Hill and his nieces Heather Graziano-Daniels, Kim Schumeg (Steve) and Caitlyn Goodman (Tom).  Fred is also survived by his cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews and will be dearly missed by his friends and all whose lives he touched.
