I was deeply saddened to hear about Ed’s passing. Having known him for over 25 years, I will always cherish the fond memories of some of our more interesting conversation (re: tattoos, food & politics). He had such a unique way of bringing joy to those around him—his sense of humor was infectious, and his legendary “questions” (which were never just simple questions!) never failed to make me smile. His kindness, wit, and warmth made the world a better place, and I feel truly grateful to have known him.
Please know that my thoughts are with you during this difficult time. May the memories of Ed bring you comfort and peace.
With my deepest sympathy,
Lynne Wagner

To Andrea, Kristin, Dale, and all who knew and loved Eddie - My deepest sympathy in this time of loss. I remember Ed tipping his head to the side while looking and up saying "Da-yle" changing the one syllable name into two. I remember receiving from Eddie not one, but two of the most meaningful cards after Irene, my mother died. I keep the 2 cards in my bedside drawer along with the memory of Eddie's kindness shown to the family. Not only did Ed use beautiful words to describe my mother, he also thanks the family for unselfighly including him in when gathering together. Ed was both loving and thankful with his sweet words.
