Obituary of Kathleen J. Goodhand

Kathleen Goodhand passed away on February 12, 2025. She was 74 years old.

Born in Newark, NJ, to parents William and Dorothy (Stanke) Goodhand, Kathleen lived in Basking Ridge, Peapack and Bedminster, where she’d been a resident for the last 20 years.

She held an Associates Degree in Business Administration from RVCC. Kathleen had a long career as a legal secretary recently retiring from Hoffman & Baron after 31 years.

Kathleen was a member of the Red Hat Society, loved reading, movies and enjoyed puzzles of any kind. She loved thrifting, going to flea markets, rummage sales and book sales.

Kathleen is survived by her siblings, Linda (Jack) King , William (Karen) Goodhand, Patricia (Ed) Mead, and Michael (Susan) Goodhand, nieces Alisa, Heather, Jennie, Kelly, nephews Andrew, Patrick, Harris, great niece and nephew, Joella and Angelo and many dear and close friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22, from 10 to 11 AM at the Bailey Funeral Home, 176 Main Street, Peapack NJ, immediately followed by a service in the funeral home at 11 AM. Donations in Kathleen’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association or the Atlantic Visiting Nurse Association.
