Obituary of Frederick A Schneper

Frederick A. Schneper passed away suddenly on Feb. 1, 2025, at his home in Mendham Township, where he lived with his beloved wife, Sally O’Neil, and their cherished Cavalier King Charles, Lily. He was 83 years old.

Fred was born in Morristown to Leon and Dorothy (Brown) Schneper. He served in the Army from 1964 until 1966, when he was honorably discharged. He co-owned W&F Schneper Trucking and Whippany Sand and Gravel with his brother, William Schneper, for many years up until he retired.

To all who knew him, Fred was fun, dear, kind, always helpful and beloved. He will forever be Sally’s sungod.

Fred is survived by his wife, his brother and sister-in-law, as well as his loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Ann Riley.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.
