I worked with Dr. Felberg supporting remote stroke consultation (Telemedicine before everyone knew what it was). Rob was always a contributor to our meetings and the goal of getting treatment to a stroke patient as soon as possible. Without a doubt, Dr. Felberg saved many lives and enhanced the quality of living for stroke patients. It was a pleasure knowing Dr. Felberg. -Phil Crocetti

I met Dr. Felberg as an in-patient at Overlook after having a stroke in March 2014. I immediately felt at ease with him and confident in his care. His bedside manner was second to none. He accurately and quickly diagnosed the cause of my stroke which was congenital in nature (confirmed with one test) but no one else had diagnosed it in the past despite it being an issue for 20 years before that hospital stay. He was warm during my office visits, took his time to answer all of my questions and always made me smile (often laugh). I only learned of his passing when looking him up to add to my new insurance. I am deeply saddened by this tremendous loss to his loved ones, his patients and to the medical community. I will never forget him, he was truly special.

It is with deepest sorrow that I learned of Dr. Felberg's death. While a Psychiatry resident I attended epic poker games which Rob organized. Freeze, Quarterback, Justiz, they were legendary! He was a first rate physician, scientist, and remarkably fun to be around. Such a promising career cut short. I am glad we got to talk before his death. I will miss him greatly. My deepest condolences for your loss. Dr. Felberg was such a beautiful human being. He saved my wife's life who had suffered from a stroke at the young age of 34. He will be truly missed by so many!
