Obituary of Mary Di Rienzo

Mary Di Rienzo passed away on February 23, 2020. She was 97 Years old.

Born in Newark, NJ to parents Nicola and Rose (nee Picciano) Di Rienzo, Mary lived in Bloomfield and Clifton before moving to Bridgewater six years ago.  She was devoted to her family.

 She is survived by her sister Angelina Kobylarz and brother Orlando of Pottersville, NJ.

May was an executive secretary for many years at several prominent companies in New York City.  In her younger years, she was a nurse’s aid during WWII and a dance instructor at Arthur Murray Studios in New Jersey.  She enjoyed travel and fashion and was always beautifully dressed and was the quintessential “Aunt Mary”.  She loved all her 9 Nieces and nephews as they did her.

In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made in Mary’s memory to Laurel Circle, 100 Monroe Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.

Visitation will be Friday, February 28 from 9-10 am followed by a funeral service at 10 am at the Bailey Funeral Home, 176 Main Street, Peapack, NJ.
