Mr. D’Amato was my vice principal and he was the most stable male figure in my high school years. He was kind and honest. He will truly be missed and I will always remember the motivating conversations we had.
Just now finding out that Mr D'Amato passed away. Deeply saddened to hear the news. Easily my favorite teacher at BHS (1990)
He encouraged us to really understand 'both' sides of a historical event. "Question Everything!" he always used to remind me. All these decades later, I still talk about him in the present-tense, as he's left an indelible impact on my life. Rest in Power.
MR. DAmato was by far my favorite teacher when I attended BHS. He made learning an enjoyable experience and was a supportive role model. I will never forget him. RiP.
Mr D'Amato was a terrific teacher and down to earth man. He had a "your favorite uncle" character and a magnetic personality. We're sad to hear of his passing. Another great one gone.
