Obituary of Kathleen McAnally

Kathleen O’Leary McAnally died peacefully surrounded by her family at her home in Mendham N.J. on October 26, 2016 at the age of 66. Loving wife of James for 43 years; beloved mother of Mary Erin, Kevin, Tim (Aileen), and Dan (Dania); adored “Gama” of Caroline, Annabel, Grace, Clare, Timmy, and Michael; dear sister of Brian (Diane) O'Leary (Diane) O’Leary. She is preceded in death by her parents Bernard and Rita O’Leary. Kathi was a graduate of Marylawn of the Oranges Academy. She received a bachelors degree from Marymount College and her masters degree from Seton Hall University. Kathi devoted her life to teaching children, from the mildly learning disabled to the most severely mentally and physically handicapped. Kathi will be remembered for her kind and gentle heart, her patience, and her generosity. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 28, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Road, Mendham, N.J. There will be a Funeral Mass on Saturday, October 29, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Abbey at Delbarton School, 230 Mendham Road, Morristown, N.J. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Abbey, 230 Mendham Road, Morristown, N.J.
