Obituary of Emilia Marano

Emilia Marano passed away peacefully on Oct. 14, 2016 at Sunrise in Basking Ridge. She was 98. She was born in Jersey City on Oct. 7, 1918 to Joseph and Catherine Marano. She lived in North Bergen before moving to Sunrise Assistant Living Basking Ridge in 2009. She worked as a seamstress for many years. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Phyllis Pieroni. She is survived by her nephew Joseph Pieroni and his wife Barbara and her brother George Marano Visitation will be held from 1 to 5 pm on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday 10:30am at St. Joseph Church, Mendham. Interment Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
