Obituary of Ida M Munde

Mendham - Ida M. Munde passed away at Holly Manor Care Center on Friday, June 10, 2016. She was 97. Born in Jersey City, she was a resident of Cliffside Park before moving to Avon-By-The-Sea more than 40 years ago. Mrs. Munde worked in her family business, the New Era Lace Company, in West New York, NJ for many years, and later was employed by Freehold Township as an administrative assistant. She was an avid world traveler, and spent time in Europe traveling with her family before World War II. She was the last of seven siblings, and was predeceased by her husband Daniel Joseph Munde in 1999. She is survived by her son, Daniel Jacob Munde and his wife Joan; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at the Mendham funeral home on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 3-7:00 pm. A funeral service will be celebrated at the funeral home at 10:30 am on Wednesday, June 15, 2016. A private cremation will follow.
