Obituary of Angela Popa

Angela Popa passed away peacefully on November 9, 2015. She was 89. Born in Italy, Angela moved to Peapack in 1933 where she has lived since. Angela was a beautician for many years in the Bernardsville area before retiring. She was a member of the Happy Rockers in Peapack Gladstone. She was also a member of Daughters of Mary and the Prayer Shawl Ministry both of St. Brigid Church. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was kind and generous to all. Angela was predeceased by her husband Nicholas in 2014. She is survived by her sons; Daniel Popa and his fiance Ginny, and her two sons of Franklin Township, and David Popa and his wife Cathy of Clinton. She is also survived by her five grandchildren and her sister Victoria Sibilia. Visitation will be November 12, from 4-8 pm at the Bailey Funeral Home in Peapack. The Funeral Mass will be held November 13 at 10am at St. Brigid Church, Peapack. Entombment was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge. www.baileyfuneral.com.
