Obituary of Charles Radice

Charles Radice, Jr. passed away at his home in Leland NC on Sunday, July 19, 2015 after a long illness. He was 78. Born to the late Charles and Lottie (Woldanski) on July 13, 1937 in Newark NJ, he was a resident of Bernardsville before moving to North Carolina last month. He was a research and employment/compensation specialist for Bell Labs and Lucent Technologies in Murray Hill NJ for 39 years before his retirement in 2000. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force from 1957-1961. Mr. Radice is survived by his wife, Terry (Baker), four daughters, Donna Smith, Laura Young, Gina Radice, and Linda Sweeney; and eight grandchildren, and several cousins. Visitation will be at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Road, Mendham, NJ 07945 (973) 543-4720, on Friday, July 24, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at St. Joseph's R C Church, West Main Street, Mendham at 10:30 AM. A private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested by the family to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer or to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice in NC. Donation envelopes will be available at the funeral home during visitation.
