Obituary of Daniel Solimano

Daniel Solimano died suddenly at home in High Bridge on March 24, 2009. He was 45. Born in Montclair he lived in West Orange and Chester before moving to High Bridge in 1997. Dan was a 1981 Graduate of West Morris Mendham High School. He served in the Marine Corps from 1982-1988. Dan was the Proprietor of North Jersey Marble and Granite in High Bridge for the last 21 years and was a skilled craftsman known for his work with marble and granite. Dan was a longtime supporter of the Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity and received multiple awards for his generous contributions of labor and materials. His father James and his Mother Eileen died previously. Survivors include 5 brothers; James of Seattle, WA, Mark of Wayne, Matthew of Providence, RI, Paul of Portland, Ore., and Michael of Burlington, VT. He is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham. Funeral Mass Saturday 10am at St. Lawrence Church. Chester. Interment Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Chester.
