Obituary of Hedda Sivertsson

Hedda Karin Camilla Sivertsson passed away peacefully at home on March 2, 2018.  Hedda was 15 years old.

Hedda fought a brave battle with brain cancer and she often spent time with other patients and families to offer them comfort and to help them deal with their illness. Prior to the onset of her illness and at young age, she visited lonely elderly at a local nursing home to comfort them. Hedda also cared for the environment and animals and many wounded animals were cared for and rescued by her. Hedda was full of life and love and she brought smiles to the faces of the many whose lives she touched.

Hedda was a young girl of many passions and she played rugby, soccer, and lacrosse but most of all she loved to ski with her friends of the Mountain Creek race team.

She is loved and missed by her parents Per and Camilla Sivertsson, her brother William, her sister Elva, her godparents Joyce Hayes and Dan Brannen, her au pair Sarah Nicol, her maternal and paternal grandparents, great grandparents and four uncles in Sweden, and her two lovingly Yorkshire Terriers, Julia & Bella.

A memorial service will also be arranged in Sweden at a later date.
