Obituary of Frederick C Rienau

 Frederick C. Rienau passed away after a brief illness on January 1, 2018 at Morristown Medical Center. He was 67. Born in Morristown he was a lifelong resident of Mendham.

After graduating from West Morris Central, he attended Morris County College and graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University Madison. While at Fairleigh he was able to pursue his passion for soccer and ultimately achieving MVP award for the 1971 season. Following college Fred continued playing in men's leagues in Morris County.

After college Fred assumed a full time role in the family construction business in NYC, at which he continued until his retirement. He always found time to help on the family farm in Mendham spending many hours with his brother making hay or whatever other chores were needed.

Fred was predeceased by his parents Fred and Frances, his wife Kathleen Healy and half-sister Irmgard Brancati. He is survived by his brother and friend Harold Rienau and the Brancati Family. He is also survived by several cousins in the US and Germany.

A memorial service will be held on the family farm on April 14, 2018. In lieu of flowers, the family asks those interested to donate to the Mendham First Aid Squad. Arrangements by the Bailey Funeral Home www.baileyfuneral.com.
